AS CHERBOURG

The Cherbourg Sports Association brings together many disciplines from athletics to judo through baseball, swimming or table tennis. If none of the sports practised in the association rewards others, football has a place apart. In National, the equivalent of the third French division, until the 2012-2013 season, the flagship team was demoted at the end of the season. Yet, with professional status, it performs strongly discussed performances in the game’s aftermath by a large proportion of the local population. Behind this sporting standard, the club has more than 300 licensees, divided by age of practitioners.
