The river benefiting from the proximity of Lake Chad makes the ornithologists happy, it is a place for migrating migratory birds after the large crossing of the Sahara, and many species nest in the vegetation provided on its shores. It is in water, the rainy season in March. Its waters arrive in the Diffa region, usually during the month of July. The decline starts in November, sometimes in December. However, the bed of the river remains in water for several consecutive months. Some of the hopper arms fed by the Komadougou conserve their residual waters all year round. The residents cross it with a flat belly on big gourds that serve them as floats and bagages in which they slip their belongings away from water. You can try it, but the bath is almost guaranteed!
