MARGINEDA DEPOSIT
Extensive excavation site with 5 periods of occupation, from the Bronze Age to the century, covering an area of 4,000 m²
During the summer of 2012, this vast excavation site uncovered remains - among the most important in the principality - that have made it possible to revisit part of the archaeological history of Andorra. The site of La Margineda, covering an area of 4,000 square meters, has probably seen five periods of occupation, from the Bronze Age to the nineteenth century, with the most notable nucleus of settlement being a group of five houses dating from the twelfth to fourteenth centuries. For those who want to know more about the medieval habitat in Andorra.
