SANT PERE MÀRTIR CHURCH
Recent granite parish church designed by Josep Danés, with neo-Romanesque bell tower and altarpiece
This neo-Romanesque parish church with a tower bell tower is recent, since it was only completed in 1962 (it only began in 1956). Its architect, Josep Danés, paid tribute to the weavers, due to the importance of the textile sector in the parish. On its façade there are silk-screen prints of the Beatitudes and under its porch there are ceramic frescoes by the sculptor Sergi Mas. The altarpiece was built in collaboration with the brotherhood of the wool workers.
