Romanesque church near Lake Engolasters, with 17 m Lombard bell tower, small porch and semicircular apse
This little marvel of Romanesque architecture from the 12th century is located on the eastern side of the parish of Escaldes-Engordany, 15 minutes before reaching the lake of Engolasters. It is one of the most famous churches in Andorra. Its 17-metre Lombard bell tower stands out in the grandeur of the landscape. In addition to the bell tower, the Lombard windows, the semicircular apse and the small porch are of interest. The interior was once decorated with fascinating Romanesque frescoes.
