SANT MIQUEL DE LA MOSQUERA CHURCH
Typical little church in the center of Encamp, featuring a beautiful altarpiece in honor of the village's patron saints
Located in the center of Encamp, this small church with its typical architecture of the small rural chapels of the principality dates from the 15th century (it was later enlarged in the 19th century). It houses a beautiful altarpiece from the 16th century, known as a transit altarpiece because it is half Baroque and half Gothic, which pays homage to the patron saints of the village: the archangel Saint Michael and Saint John the Baptist. Romanesque wall paintings from the 19th century are also present in the church.
