SANT MARC AND SANTA MARIA CHURCH
Church at the entrance to Encamp, in the middle of the municipal cemetery, housing a Romanesque mausoleum from the and centuries
Located at the entrance to the town (coming from the capital Andorra la Vella), on the right bank, the church of Sant Marc and Santa Maria, which dates from the 11th century, was remodelled in the 16th and 18th centuries. It houses a Romanesque mausoleum dating from the 3rd and 4th centuries. It is unusual for the church to be located in the middle of the municipal cemetery, which is made up of old tombs, especially family vaults. An important element of Andorran heritage.
