SANT ROMÀ CHURCH
Small church with semicircular apse, porch with remarkable view, Gothic altarpiece and granite vase
Consecrated in 1164, this small church dedicated to Saint Roman has a semicircular apse and is decorated with Lombard arches similar to those of the Encamp bell tower. Its nave is divided into three spaces by means of double arches. The porch, from which there is a remarkable view of the Encamp valley, was added later. The altar has murals by the Master of Santa Coloma (12th century) and a 16th century Gothic altarpiece dedicated to Saint Roman of Antioch, as well as a granite vase from the 12th century.
