MOORISH TOWER
Unrestored 4-storey tower of a fortified house on the Montalari road, with views over the entire valley
Part of the architectural ensemble of Les Bons, it is one of the unrestored remains of a fortified house. On four floors, it still offers military details such as loopholes. From its top, the view embraces the whole valley. The cistern, also known as the "Moorish Queen's Bath", and the pipe dug into the rock were used to store and transport water to the farmlands. This complex is located on the Montalari path, which for a while followed the route of a long-distance hiking trail (GR 7).
