SANT CLIMENTS CHURCH
Romanesque church with Lombard-style tower, 3-storey bell tower and altarpiece dedicated to Pope St. Clement
The church of Pal, dedicated to Saint Clement, is a Romanesque building whose Lombard style tower dominates the small village. The bell tower, dating from the 12th century, has three floors with open windows. Over the centuries, this church has undergone many changes, even if it retains most of its Romanesque characteristics. It contains a statuette of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Remède, which dates from the 13th century, two polychrome wooden crosses, baptismal fonts in the nave and an altarpiece dedicated to Pope Saint Clement, the church's patron saint.
