On the outskirts of the village, in the direction of El Serrat, is the famous Llorts mine, an essential stage on the no less famous iron route. During the 19th century, the site was used to try to locate new ore reserves. The exploitation was not very successful, hence the small size of the mine (30 m deep, dug with explosives). The iron mine of Llorts is nevertheless fascinating. It is one of the last remaining sites in Andorra to show that ore was extracted in the 19th century. Attention Indiana Joneses!
