GSTAAD MOUNTAIN RIDES

Around Gstaad, from 1,000 to 3,000 m above sea level, there is a varied ski area of 250 km (47 lifts) with ski and toboggan runs, snow parks and panoramic hiking trails. The region also has two other domains, towards Simmental (north-east of Gstaad). The Jaunpass one is particularly aimed at a family clientele, but offers a complete panorama, both in terms of the difficulties of the slopes and the activities offered (track, cross-country skiing, snowboarding). The only drawback is that the domain is fragmented and the lifts are not all connected, so you have to take a bus or train; your ski pass then acts as a transport ticket
