Balmers Hostel is an institution and a legend for backpackers! For more than 50 years, this hostel has been bringing Interlaken and its surroundings to life by offering young and not so young travellers, especially Americans, the wonders of the region through the organisation of multiple sports activities. A wonderful, festive and simple atmosphere combined with very attractive prices. Canyoning, paragliding, rafting, parachuting, hiking, snowboarding, night sledding, snowshoeing... The Balmers team is never short of ideas!

Une auberge coup de coeur. J'ai passé un weekend à Interlaken et j'ai passée une nuit à Balmers hostel. Un incontournable a ne pas rater, le lieu offre de quoi passer un bon séjour. Beaucoup d'équipements sont mis à disposition pour permettre aux voyageurs de s'amuser: babyfoot, tables de billards, un bar , des hamacs et même un jaccuzzi et une boîte de nuit. Le soir de mon arrivée ils avaient prévu une soirée beer pong. Le petit déjeuner buffet est très bon. Je recommande. Excellent rapport qualité prix, surtout pour la Suisse.
