Burgdorf Castle was built by the Zähringen family in the 12th century. It is one of Switzerland's oldest fortresses, and is extremely well preserved. Restored several times, this imposing building now houses a museum with several collections relating to the art and history of the region, as well as a youth hostel and restaurant. Spend the night here and experience the life of a castle!
