Fresh pasta and various dishes to be enjoyed in a restaurant with terrace and bar in Basel.
Eating & Drinking is French when the boss of the places, Adrien, is there, but on the other hand the menu is in German and the young waiters give a lot of trouble to help you understand. Here, there is a real sample of the Basel population: students, merchants, retirees, musicologists and researchers all join and trinquent together. The tables on the terrace are pleasant for lunch or dinner one of the two dishes of the day (vegetarian or not). Blueberry beef with its parsnips emulsion and vegetarian lasagna were delicious. Good choice of fresh pasta as well. On the other hand, in winter, the indoor bar atmosphere does not really want to sit down and eat. It smells like beer, the musical atmosphere is assured by the jukeboxes box that everyone gets up to the hour of the aperitif and fills each hour until the closure.
