On a giant carousel! Around the corner from Wettsteinplatz, you'll leave Switzerland for Italy when you open the door to Resslirytti. The singing accent and warm welcome of the restaurant's staff leave no room for doubt. A slightly retro carousel atmosphere, where wooden horses rub shoulders with exposed stone walls and colorful friezes reminiscent of carnival. A must are the pizzas, with their thin, crispy dough and wood-fired oven. Two affordable menus are offered daily. Quite busy in the evenings and at weekends.

L'accueil est très agréable et sympathique et l'on se sent tout de suite à l'aise.

I spent a night in a single room.
Very clean room with a comfy bed, nice size bathroom, nice breakfast, charming staff.
I will definitely go again if I'm in Basel.
And the pizzeria downstairs is also nice ???? ????
