This traditional restaurant in the old town, a stone's throw from the university, has been around for over a century. Swiss specialties take pride of place in the restaurant's stylish, retro decor, where wood is everywhere. The à la carte menu includes kutteln (veal offal) served in sauce with potatoes. Students often have salads (served in large bowls). A seasonal menu is also available (asparagus, mussels, etc.). A good address with an incredibly varied clientele. Reservations recommended.
