Personalised rooms in a youth hostel close to the CCF train station in Basel.

For a roots stay, this youth hostel is the perfect place to stay. Located 10 minutes from the CCF station. A warm and relaxed welcome in the premises of Gundeldingerfeld, this former industrial complex that has been renovated as a centre of life in the district, which is exceptionally well suited to an inn that boasts its young and urban character. The rooms are all designed and decorated differently, with unusual objects: antiques, dentist's chair, etc. For the real backpackers, equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer at your disposal. Lounge area with old armchairs and sofas, to chat over a drink and meet people. In a few words: an address that breathes youth.

Dortoirs spacieux avec des lits doubles également, l auberge est très bien situé dans Bâle, dans une ancienne usine. Nous étions a la fin de notre voyage à vélo et il a été très facile de les abriter dans la cour de l auberge. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et l accueil est agréable !

This was such an amazing place to stay in! It had really cool facilities including a large and well-stocked kitchen, a free washer and dryer, clean and comfortable showers and incredibly spacious, well-equipped rooms. I liked the details such as the bedside tables, the larger beds and the lockers with keys. The entire hostel has such personality and it's very nicely decorated. It was a great experience.

Ausgesprochen freundliches und aufmerksames Personal; sehr hilfsbereit. Wir waren im Zimmer No. 15 untergebracht und waren als Familien mit einem Säugling und einem Kleinkind wirklich begeistert von den Räumlichkeiten und damit dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis; wir werden auf jeden Fall bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Region Basel wieder im Zimmer No. 15 des "Basel BackPack" absteigen
