The rooms on the Rhine side (more expensive) all have a small balcony with a superb view of the river, the cathedral and the banks of Greater Basel, even from the lower floors. The hotel's 63 rooms are divided into 4 categories: Double Single, Single Business (with lounge area), Double and Suite. Professional and friendly welcome and service. Restaurant with a direct terrace on the Rhine, renowned for its excellent fish specialities.

Bequeme Bette, aber Zimmer überhaupt nicht isoliert, so dass Lärme der Straße hörbar sind. Zusätzlich sind Möbel extrem alt und sollten gewechselt werden. Ich bin überrascht, dass das Hotel als ein 4 Stern betrachtet ist: es würde eher höchstens ein 3 Stern verdienen.
Das Alter des Gebäude spricht keine Rolle, man könnte sich bemühen, auf Renovation der Zimmer (und Fenster) investieren.
