St. Elisabeth's Church in Basel, saved from demolition in the 1980s, has become an emblematic venue for spirituality, culture and events. In the heart of Basel, it hosts parades, banquets and spiritual practices. A 215-step ascent leads to a breathtaking panoramic view. Switzerland's first "urban church", it celebrates diversity. Its history and architecture make it a jewel of Basel, open to all.
