Sentient souls abstain! The University of Basel's anatomy museum created in 1824 was the result of the work of Professor Carl Gustav Jung, paternal grandfather of the famous psychiatrist. Professor at the Faculty of Basel, passionate about the human body, he taught surgery, anatomy and obstetrics. Thanks to the museum of anatomy, he contributed to understanding the functioning of the human body and its various parts. The elements presented are preparations of real members, organs and tissues of the human body. Intrauterine evolution is also traced. The museum's key piece is probably the oldest human skeleton preparation in the world (Andreas Vesal in 1543).

this small museum allows you to see all human organs more or less " preparés" ... a little small but friendly!
