MUSÉE GUILLAUME TELL
William Tell is a national hero. Who doesn't know of his famous daring and dexterity in handling the crossbow with such precision that it has become a Swiss quality par excellence? His life is still shrouded in mystery by historians. In the small village of Bürglen, the museum covers six centuries of documentation, representations and objects that take us back to the world of primitive Switzerland. It houses the collection of Basel-born Ernst Stückelberg, famous for painting the frescoes in the chapel of William Tell on Lake Uri.
