With his delicate, Michelin-starred cuisine, Stefan Jäckel, chef at the Hotel Storchen's "Rôtisserie", will appeal to gourmets in search of Asian-influenced bourgeois cuisine and lovers of gourmet dishes in sauce. Specialties include bouillabaisse and Australian wagyu beef short rib. Unless you decide to let yourself be carried away by the tasting menu. One of Limmat's most sought-after restaurants, with a beautiful terrace, excellent cuisine and impeccable service. French-speaking sommelier.

Went there for a special occasion, we ordered a Cheval Blanc 1997 (Nice) but unfortunately dishes too buttered, veal ravioli drowned in emulsion, poorly presented. The team is professional but nothing more, no warm welcome. Really disappointed by the food, too expensive. Will come back if menu gets closer to the Michelin Star they have ????

Au niveau de son étoile, pas de fausses notes, service pro et agréable, beau cadre et belle vue. Un déjeuner très appréciable, tout en convivialité.

Exceptional experience. I was greeted with a complimentary dish from the chef. (I apologize, as I do not remember the name of the dish. Only that it was delicious). The warm bread they bring to the table is so soft in the inside with a nice crust in the outside. And the two butters they bring are amazing; one being a fruity infusion that was a really nice treat to go with every bite. The chef then gifted us with a couple of different macaroons that were so uniquely flavored that you have to experience to really appreciate. For my starter I had the pulled crab and Gillardeau oyster. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was next level. So much going on in every bite with the crab, and the oyster was a mouth full of such a unique blend of ingredients that made your eyes roll. Both were incredibly fresh. My friend had the veil shank ravioli, and made me quite jealous, actually, because of how absolutely delicious it was. The sauce was so savory and buttery. The one bite I had was an absolute tease. I had the A5 Kagoshima waygu for my entree, and words can't describe how amazing it was. The sauce that was drizzled over it was so decadent and savory and paired so well with the tender buttery meat. Every bite was heaven. I had a sorbet dessert combination that was a blend of citrus flavors that just exploded with flavor, and shocked you pallet after all of the savory dishes during the meal. Not overly sweet, and the perfect portion to end a perfect meal. A well deserved Michelin Star. The servo was exceptional, and the ambiance was such a great setting for such a meal. I was sat right by the window overlooking the city. I can't recommend this place enough.

Die Speisen sind nicht nur kunstvoll präsentiert, sondern auch geschmacklich ein wahres Fest für die Sinne. Jeder Bissen ist ein Genuss und zeigt die handwerkliche Meisterschaft des Küchenteams. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist vielfältig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes. Ein besonderes Lob verdienen auch die frischen Zutaten, die den Geschmack jeder Speise noch intensivieren. Wir können La Rôtisserie uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Took some wagyu beef, only got one slice for 125 CHF… Just not worth the value.
Food is overly good but more pretentious than good.
When I said something about it, they offered one out of the 2 digestives… stingy
