Located in the old shipyard complex, the Schiffbau houses the La Salle restaurant and a cultural centre, a theatre, the jazz Moods club. The building is nicknamed the Aquarium due to its large windows, the hotel attracts all-Zurich. La Salle cuisine, with French and Italian inspiration and anchored in seafood products, is excellent. The stylish service, a stylish touch, and the room is very spacious.

What doesn't add up is the price. I'm never reluctant to pay crazy amount of money in Michelin star restaurants and I'm familiar with Zürich's standards when it comes to food and beverage. But at La Salle, this is just too much for what you get. Quick lunch with a small tartar, a small filet of sea beam, 2 coffees and 1 bottle of water for over CHF 100. Are you serious? Not sure whether this has anything to do with the fact that the place was almost empty...
