The Zurich Youth Hostel is slightly out of the way, but still easily accessible. The rooms in this lakeside youth hostel are well kept and the building, which dates from the 1960s, was named Historic Hotel of the Year 2008 by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). The welcome here is very pleasant and the staff are helpful. The breakfast buffet is generous and the hotel also offers excellent lunches. Good to know: public transport tickets can be purchased at the reception.

It was my first time staying in a hostel and it met my expectations. The employees are friendly and caring. I would especially like to thank the lady at the desk. There is internet and it is fast. The toilets have paper towels and toilet paper. There is no problem with the hostel. Your satisfaction is determined by the people you will stay in the room with.

This is not a youth hostel. Most of the guests were businessman and families. Breakfast was good and the price. You need to put the sheets on the bed and return them. If you are looking for a traditional hostel I wouldn’t recommend, but it was good for a night while waiting for a flight

The rooms are very clean and the amenities are well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. My flight arrived in the early morning, and the staff allowed me to check in early so I could rest. I appreciate being allowed to check in so early a lot. THANK YOU! The water gets hot quickly and has good pressure in the showers.
