Old bedroom with old furnitures. Not the same room as the one shown in the pictures. Indeed, the bed was accesible only from lne side. The other one was touching the wall, making it extremely unconffortable for us.

The hotel is overpriced for the condition and treatment we received.

The only good aspect from it: the location

Tres bonne ambiance , la réception , le barman ( tri langue ) l’emplacement , le service et les renseignements pour la ville , les restaurants sont juste à côté !

Our suite was very clean, very comfortable and well appointed. As was our un suite.the staff were very professional and polite. Tge online check-in was a great help in reducing time spent checking-in and out. We will definitely return.

Es gab viele Missverständnisse mit dem Personal..keine Kompetenz..viele Streitigkeiten, ich war dabei, zwischen dem Management und den Kunden... sorry, zu frech,zu primitiv.

Stayed there several times before. Got a room between elevator and lift for goods, permanent noise. Room was dark, very little light, narrow. Breakfast far to expensive for just reheated bread, omelet w no taste and far too expensive. Great location but it used to be much better, and did not even receive an upgrade despite Hotel not being full. Anything but smart

Ich besuchte die Bar des Hotels. Angenehme Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung und zum Kaffee gab es als Schmankerl einen kleinen Hüppen - ein Genuss! Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, unaufgeregt und bequem. Eine gelungene Mischung. Die Lokalität lädt zum Verweilen ein und man kann gut reden. Vielen Dank - ich werde wiederkommen.

Very disappointing… the rooms are not the same as in the pictures. The room that we booked was absolutely not big enough for 2 people, it was also not possible to charge a laptop or anything like that. We checked another room, for which we of course had to pay much more per night, but that room was not better at all, it was actually quite creepy. All rooms are super noisy, so you woke up very early when someone walked through the hallway, as if they were standing in your room. We also felt a bit ripped off. We were first in a public parking garage, which cost 45 Francs per 24 hours, later (with great difficulty) we were in a parking space that belonged to the hotel. We had to pay 50 Francs per 24 hours for this, while we later saw that the website indicated 40 Francs. As a foreigner you are not received warmly and we got the feeling that we were being treated less favorably. Not friendly service, very cold. In any case, we felt anything but welcome. Pity. We were glad we left after 2 nights.

While we enjoyed our stay the room and bed were extremely small for a couple. Room type not specified during booking.

L'hôtel Opéra à Zürich est plutôt bien placé, en revanche les chambres ne sont pas forcément à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles. Dans l'ensemble, elles sont assez petites et les prestations varient selon les chambres. Par exemple, le café est en sachet dans certaines chambres alors que d'autres bénéficient de cafetières Nespresso. Autre point négatif, l'hôtesse d'accueil du matin qui semblait franchement de professionnalisme contrairement à celle nous ayant accueilli à notre arrivée la veille au soir...

Siamo nel quartiere di Seefeld, di fronte al famoso Teatro dell’Opera, a pochi passi dal lago e vicini al centro della città. L’hotel presenta una facciata meravigliosa in stile Jugendstil. Arredamento favoloso in stile vintage, sedie e salotti in velluto dai colori pastello, librerie coi libri e riviste di architettura, lampadari importanti.

Camere molto grandi, pulite. Il bagno abbina la funzionalità con specchi e lampade decò. Set di cortesia. Colazioni a buffet. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Tornata dopo un anno, ho ritrovato la stessa magia, dovuta all’arredamento molto accattivante e studiato nei minimi dettagli. Gentilezza e cordialità del personale. Pulizia. Dal balcone vista lago. È il nostro hotel di Zurigo!! ????

Worst hotel experience ever! I would not even give a 2 star to this hotel!
+: location. This is it.
-: don’t believe beautiful pictures you see on the website! The hotel doesn’t have a proper reception (combined with a bar), the staff is super unprofessional and rude. Especially the manager Alex Shreif, who was very agressive and rude to us, which made our Anniversary celebration at the hotel absolute disaster! The rooms are super old and dirty with scratches and spots ont he walls and floors, the room has almost no amenities, you hear everything as it’s an old building. The bed looked like in prison and made noises when moving. And this is for almost 300 chf per night off season! The manager refused us to change the room, as he said it’s what we booked, and on the top of that changed us with the Tourist tax, even if we are Zurich residents and it’s illegal. When we were showing him the quotes from the tourism office online, he said if we want we can call the Tourism office tomorrow. Never saw such a horrible service in a hotel worldwide! Shame on the Maili Selection hotels for the poor management!

Wunderschönes und gemütliches Hotel am Zürichsee. Sehr zentral gelegen. Das Essen und das Zimmer waren hervorragend. Und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Jederzeit wieder.

Nicely designed hotel. The "smart room" is definitely a bit too small for two people staying for 6 consecutive nights. Bed was at the wall and hence only one way to approach it. Going around the bed was not possible. Very little storage. Everything else was fine.
