With its privileged location on the heights of Zurich, the Dolder Grand enjoys a magical view of the city, the lake and the Alps on the horizon. A former Curhaus (spa) dating from 1899, the hotel has retained its fairy-tale castle look while being modernised. The 4,000m2 spa, one of the most prestigious in the country, is a true delight for body and soul. The elegant restaurant run by chef Heiko Nieder, with 2 Michelin stars to his name, enhances the taste experience. A "chic" stay is guaranteed!

had an corporate event there. The rooms I can‘t rate. Everyone there is super friendly and nice. But the location is terrible, like 100 years away from the trainstation… but the building is very beautiful and to clarify if you go there for holidays take a cab but for work you can’t ???? great and amazing hotel.

The spa is great, but only if you are prepared to go early and reserve a bed, otherwise you’ll have nowhere to sit/ lie. Therefore if you plan to arrive more than 10 mins after opening and if you don’t fancy sitting in the jacuzzi for 8 hours straight, I recommend you spend your CHF 300 day spa money on more beneficial activities. Personally I have decided to invest CHF 300 into a flight to Benidorm where I can practice beach towel laying techniques with German and British tourists, once mastered I hope to return to the Dolder.
