CRÉDIT SUISSE
The Credit Suisse headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, is a landmark building located on Paradeplatz. Built between 1873 and 1876, its sandstone façade and ornamental sculptures symbolize Switzerland's financial center. Over the decades, the bank expanded its premises, surrounding the inner courtyard. In 2002, the courtyard was opened to the public under the name "Lichthof" and now houses a luxury shopping gallery. The opening of the courtyard was a key measure in the reorganization of Credit Suisse on Paradeplatz. Art plays a key role in this repositioning, with Silvie Defraoui's "Fountain of Desire" occupying the heart of the Lichthof. The courtyard is also home to over 400 other works of art spread throughout the lobbies, corridors and offices. These works offer food for thought and adapt to the building's various architectural styles. A visit to the Credit Suisse headquarters is an interesting cultural experience for lovers of art and architecture.
