Simple yet comfortable, almost every room in this quiet hotel has a balcony overlooking the lake. The town of Rapperswil can be reached on foot from the Hotel Rössli by crossing the lake on Switzerland's longest wooden bridge: the magnificent Holzbrücke Rapperswil-Hurden. The welcome is friendly and the staff helpful. The hotel offers very good value for money, and the delicious breakfast served in the pleasant ground-floor veranda is delightful. A must for a getaway outside Zurich.
