In a small grocery store on the rue de Carouge is a modest but friendly Eritrean and Ethiopian restaurant. You can eat chicken(doro), lamb(kulwa) or beef(zigni) on the traditional patty, injera. The meat portions are a bit small, but the prices are low and the sauces are absolutely delicious. There is also the possibility of eating vegetarian: mashed lentils with spices(birsin), mixed vegetables with potatoes(alicha) or mashed yellow peas with paprika(shiro).
