It's a strategically located area, where you can explore the entire old town on foot, taking those strolls along the right and left banks of the lake. The Cornavin train station is about a 20-minute walk away. To go out in the evening, always on foot, you'll have a wide choice of restaurants, terraces and ephemeral bars in summer, or go to concerts in the Lagrange and Eaux Vives parks. Excellent service.
