The setting - a historic tower dating from 1591, which was once part of Geneva's ramparts (it protected the port, now the site of the famous Place du Mollard, which was then on the lake shore) and the coat of arms it bears, which are those of the main architects of the Reformation - is particularly original and well worth a stop just for a drink and to relive a page of history. The five-storey, stone-built building is home to a number of different wine-tasting areas.
