EXIT A.D.M.D. SUISSE ROMANDE
The Exit movement for the right to die with dignity was born in England in 1935. It quickly spread to other countries and continents. Exit also exists in German-speaking Switzerland. The aim of this association is to fight against therapeutic overkill, to have the rights of the patient recognized by asking for the respect of his will and his choice regarding death. It provides its members with a Guide to self-delivery for a chosen end of life, which addresses all the problems of self-delivery when the person has decided to do so alone. In this case, the association does not intervene and does not provide the pentobarbital. On the other hand, the association can help its members in the last stages of their life and in accordance with the penal code to end their existence if they meet certain conditions: capacity of discernment, incurable organic disease with fatal prognosis, intolerable suffering, important invalidity, repeated requests, etc.
