BOIS DE LA BATIE
A real green lung fully equipped for walks, sports, picnics, and a paddling pool in summer. As a bonus: the animal park.
The name of this wooded hill comes from a fort, the Bastie-Mellié, built in the 13th century and destroyed three centuries later. Developed in 1870, the wood includes paths around its pond, a hornbeam oak grove, its two restaurants, its playgrounds and of course its animal park. Children love it! They can meet their favorite animals such as peacock goats, mirror sheep, woolly pigs, Hinterwald cows and Appenzell chickens. From here you can go for beautiful walks along the Rhone.

Right next to the park, a playground with paddling pools (crowded at the weekend). New games are under equipment. unfortunately the giant slide was really nice with children.
Le parc est bien entretenu , des bancs sont à dispositions. une aire de jeux et de pique-nique sont installés à côté du parc animalier. Une pataugeoire est ouverte durant l'été. Le parc est gratuit.
