The Paléo Festival has long been a part of the reputation of the town of Nyon and the region. Created in 1976, Paléo Festival is today the biggest open-air musical event in Switzerland. Set up by more than 3,700 volunteers, it hosts more than 120 concerts every year over 6 days and 6 stages. Located on a huge green space on the heights of Nyon, the festival welcomes more than 220,000 spectators, all of whom come for the music but also for the very festive atmosphere that reigns during the week. Not to be missed if you come in July.

De loin un des meilleurs festivals que j'ai fait avec les enfants. A la différence des autres, celui-ci propose plein d'autres activités et stands ou vous pourrez passer du temps entre deux concerts. Chaque année le thème change et la nourriture avec. Les gens y sont très serviable et la musique est très diversifiée. Si vous etes en famille c'est LE festival par excellence. On vous le conseil vivement si vous passez par Nyon durant la période du festival.

Le Paléo festival de Nyon reste une référence permis les festivals open air en Suisse. Différentes scènes où se produisent des amateurs, des vedettes internationales, des stands avec de la nourriture variée, des décors renouvelés chaque année, font que chaque soir années,les billets s'arrachent en quelque minutes. Et malgré son ça, les organisateurs font en sorte que le festival garde une dimension raisonnable, et que les familles viennent toujours avec le même enthousiasme suivre ces concerts, même si la pluie s'invite parfois.

The place to be in summer if you are in the region! Every year in concerts for all tastes. Experienced artists and innovation to be discovered. In 2013, a new stage will replace the traditional capital. Difficult to make a choice of snacks, so the choice is varied on the different stalls. Many shops to stroll. Without forgetting " Village" just outside the festival, access is free. A must!
