A cocooning break in the Lausanne Palace rotunda, out of time, cut off from the world, to recharge your batteries and sip cinnamon-scented hot chocolate when it's snowing outside? Or for a coffee break, lunch on the go, or tea time in the afternoon? A real rotunda, then, with a cosy decor, colonnades and a large bay window (this was the main entrance in the old days, when travellers arrived directly from the station). A luminous lounge, comfortable armchairs: it's hard to take off again!
