A corner of Italy in the Hôtel d'Angleterre, a superb 18th-century building. In 1816, it played host to the sulphurous Lord Byron, famous poet and great defender of freedoms. Aromas, flavors, colors and freshness are the order of the day in this upscale Italian gastronomy restaurant. The bill can be high, even very high. In summer, take a seat on the terrace, where the panoramic view over the lake, as always, completes these moments of pure bliss, offering a real escape.

Bonne qualité des mets, service aimable mais le vin vous vous le servez même, terrasse bondée en cette belle soirée d'été, peu d'attente en général.

C'est un des meilleurs restos à Lausanne. La cuisine italienne y est au top du top.

Les plats sont bien cuisinés mais le prix est largement gonflé par le cadre de la terrasse.
Du vin servi à température ambiante ( plus de 30 degrés ) puis passe au frigo .
Une serveuse qui passe à l’anglais en cours de service alors que nous lui parlons français, ce qui donne presque l’impression de déranger, un autre serveur très sympa a pris le relais .
