Ethiopian restaurant in the heart of Lausanne, confusing but excellent! We discover original dishes... And we eat with our hands!

Prepare yourself for a unique experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere as you step through the door of the Abyssinia! Here, Ethiopian meat specialties are served, or compositions for vegetarians and vegans. The particularity: we all eat in the same dish, with our fingers and with the help of pancakes. You can enjoy all-you-can-eat dishes includingminced beef(minchet alicha), heated beef tartar(kifto)... If you don't know what to choose, try the tasting dish, it's a treat!

Escape and exotic... Perfect place when you want to escape from Lausanne-les-Bains!
The place is full to fissure, with warm décor and lively atmosphere.
Here you can eat in the hands.
We tried the full menu. The samboussas are very good: they are with chopped beef pricking or lentils for version vegetarian.
The main course arrive at a main course: it is a festival of colours and flavour.
Cotai vegetarian yellow spinach, lentils, peas, salad... etc. are found
Cotai " carnivore" you will find lamb, chicken and beef. The entire spices and marinades.
One wraps different dishes in a sort of wheat pancake of texture a little " spongieuse"
This dish goes well with Ethiopian beer.
The service is pleasant, friendly and efficient.
The traditional café is to be tried.
