Do you know what a giscard is? Not a former French president, but a chocolate. The story goes that Valéry Giscard d'Estaing was originally very fond of these little caramel-coated chocolates known as rigolettos. Mme Wüthrich would send him a box every Christmas. These sweets eventually took the name of their great lover. The tea room, still with its Belle Époque allure and very British atmosphere, is the meeting place for the respectable ladies of the neighborhood. Truffles, pralines and cakes are the order of the day.
