Formerly the Grand Hôtel de Chexbres in the early 20th century, the Préalpina was transformed into an institute for young girls before becoming a beautiful hotel with 55 rooms, some of which have balconies overlooking the lake, vineyards and Alps. It offers all modern comforts, including free WiFi and parking, as well as large windows overlooking the lake. And that's what makes it so special: the magnificent view of the lake from your bed! A great place to stop on the way to wine tastings. A little noisy with the neighboring rooms, though.
