Built in a former chapel, the café-restaurant de la Valsainte opened its doors in 1890. This venerable bistro in the heart of the old town welcomes both regulars and visiting fans of traditional cuisine. Typical Vaud brasserie fare, but also delicious Lake Geneva perch fillets, old-fashioned dishes such as calf's head with vinaigrette, pig's trotters in Madeira, old-fashioned veal kidneys... Not to be missed: an amusing bowling alley at the back of the bistro.

Évelyne & Yannick réception conviviale dans ce lieu mythique où nous avons été choyés et avons dégusté des mets de brasserie excellents de par leur qualité et leur provenance locale. Le cadre de cette ancienne chapelle reconvertie en "Bistrot" est fascinant.

Un des derniers vrais bistrots veveysans ! un service très sympa, une jolie carte et des plats du jour très bien préparés, variés, Quantité et qualité sont au programme!
Et des spécialités qu'on ne trouve pas partout, comme la langue de bœuf ... Miam. A se relever la nuit !
