The Matterhorn will no longer hold any secrets for you. You will find all the necessary information on the historical and mythical ascents such as the first one on July 14, 1865. This ascent still raises questions because the rope broke on the way down. Just next door, an English church has been built, with a small cemetery, and a tiny library where the inhabitants can borrow novels in English. Services are held in the same language.
