The Giannada Foundation is one of the most famous art centres in Switzerland for its exhibitions of international artists.
Martigny is at the center of the world from an artistic point of view, thanks to its famous Fondation. Founded by Léonard Gianadda, in memory of his late brother, this museum, the town's flagship, offers exhibitions of international stature. This art foundation is unique in French-speaking Switzerland for the quality of its exhibitions. Set in the heart of a magnificent wooded park, where sculptures take center stage, the Fondation welcomes almost 10 million visitors a year. Works by some of the world's greatest artists have graced the walls of this illustrious museum: Goya, Rodin, Giacometti, Schiele, Toulouse-Lautrec, Moore, Modigliani, Claudel, Chagall, Braque, Degas, Nicolas de Staël, Manet, Dufy, Miró, Gauguin, Bonnard, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Picasso, Renoir, Matisse, Zao Wou-ki..
Musée de l'Automobile. Here you'll find a rich collection of some forty rare vehicles in working order: steam-powered Stanley, Benz from 1897, Delaunay-Belleville for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, Hispano-Suiza, Mercedes-Benz SS... More curious, Swiss-made cars, such as these Pic-Pic, Martini or Turicum.
Le Vieil Arsenal. Open from April to October. Located in the gardens of the Foundation, the Vieil Arsenal presents a fascinating exhibition: Leonardo da Vinci, the inventor. Over a hundred facsimile models illustrate the creative power of this artist.

Disastrous this museum is not needed when you are visiting of Martigny. I can even recommended a visit to little child.
