The Williamine pear found its home in the Valais, in Martigny, where André Morand began to extract its essential aromas and fragrances from this fruit in the 1940s, bringing them together in what is now a world-renowned spirit. Morand has expanded its range with a sweet version of its Williamine and Abricotine, two well-balanced eaux-de-vie liqueurs that pair wonderfully, for example, with a cheese platter. The distillery store gives you the opportunity to discover the whole range of Morand products in an authentic, wooded setting, a stone's throw from the Giannada Foundation and the charming old town of Martigny. Syrups, liqueurs, eaux-de-vie... for over 70 years, the company has built up its reputation and developed its skills and specialities. The company's products include génépi liqueur and a range of organic products, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic (herbal teas, for example). This traditional distillery combines ancient and modern techniques, always respectful of the environment, in particular by practicing integrated farming.
