An unusual idea for a visit. In an old building dating from 1406, an amusing and unique place in the world, close to the lake, brings together a collection of 108 naturalized frogs, taking on human postures and evoking scenes from everyday life in the 19th century (pub, election meeting, family scene...). See also the beautiful collection of lanterns of the Federal Railways running on oil or gas, from 1880 to the present day. And many objects and decorations of national folklore. A rare museum which is really worth a visit.

Musée in crooooaa yable!
Niché en plein coeur de la très belle vieille ville d'Estavayer, ce musée est un des plus insolites qui m'est été donné à voir! Au début, une collection d'armes, ensuite une salle avec un peu de tout, dont un crocodile empaillé à l'envers, puis enfin le clou du spectacle, la fameuse salle des grenouilles! Une centaine de grenouilles naturalisées avec des postures humaines et ce avec le soucis du détail! "Le banquet électoral", "les comères" font partis de ce joyeux bric à brac. Un musée in crôôôaa yable!
De plus, le bâtiment de l'extérieur est très beau.
