Built in the 12th century, this castle was probably destroyed and restored many times, becoming Romanesque in the 13th century, Gothic in the 15th... Its final alterations, from 1955 to 1958, turned it into the museum we know today and which provides many explanations on wine production in the Neuchâtel region. The Musée de la Vigne traces the history of local viticulture and production techniques. You can discover the grape varieties used locally, such as Chasselas or Pinot Noir Gris, and all the advances in blending.
