Patricia's 10 ha estate in Ammerschwihr. Crus from Alsatian grape varieties, brandies, fruit juices and lodging for 5.

This family estate of 10 ha owes its name to the original appellation of Ammerschwihr, a reference to the invasion of the Alamans in the5th century. Patricia practices a viticulture respectful of nature. The grapes are harvested at maturity by hand. We taste chasselas "C'est Bon", a Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Kaefferkopf (lychee and rose aromas), a pinot noir aged in barrels or cremant d'Alsace. The domain also offers brandies and grape seed oil!

Really friendly welcome and great tasting by the lady of the house. Great variety of wines produced by this family business. Absolute recommendation when you are in the neighbourhood.

Friendly and generous tasting, but you need to be able to speak French or German to learn more about the wines. They have at least one ancient grape variety that was new to me and also an unusual blend for one of their Cremants, which is always interesting. Prices are good. A winery to return to.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, die de tijd nemen om hun wijnen te laten proeven. Mooie wijnen voor een heel redelijke prijs. Hun Chasselas heeft mij hen doen vinden, maar hun andere wijnen mogen er ook zijn! Ben inmiddels twee keer bij ze langs geweest (in 2020 en 2022). Ik kom zeker nog een keer!
