Inaugurated in 2019, the panoramic terrace of Val Mara, built in the middle of the forest, makes it possible to admire marine sediments 239 million years old as well as fossils. The platform provides visitors with educational panels, binoculars, casts and reconstructions of the surroundings in the Middle Triassic period (230 million years ago) when Val Mara was a subtropical marine basin.
