A new address and our favorite in central Algiers. Le Pas Sage is a café with a warm, designer decor, a mix of books and vintage cinema posters, overlooking the Place de l'Émir Abdelkader, with a pretty terrace that's very pleasant in fine weather. Here, you can enjoy crêpes, waffles, fruit cocktails and other indulgences that make you "not wise", hence the name of the establishment. Daddy, the owner, is a true local personality who has lived in France for many years. You'll love talking to her!
