While staying at the Vineyards Country Lodge in Droombos, we had the opportunity to visit the Rosewood Pub and the Droombos Restaurant, both conveniently located on the same Droombos property. The Rosewood Pub is a beautiful bar with nice outside as well as inside seating areas providing a relaxed ambiance. The bar is well stocked, offering a wide selection of drinks. We were particularly impressed with their 1-liter beer boots, perfect for those looking for something a little extra special. Although we only visited for drinks, it's worth noting that they do have a menu that boasts a tempting selection of tapas, burgers, and pizzas. What truly set our experience apart, however, was the great service we received from Miekie and Anthony. Their attentiveness and friendlyness made us feel right at home. As mentioned, we also visited the Droombos Restaurant for dinner and found it to be a beautiful and modern restaurant. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes to cater to various tastes, and the drink selection is equally impressive. We opted for the burgers, and they did not disappoint; they were juicy and full of flavor. The only downside was the service we received was a bit average, compared to what we received at the Rosewood Pub. The restaurant, however, does seem to be very popular, so if you are planning on visiting, I recommend making a reservation. Overall, we had a good experience at both the Rosewood Pub and the Droombos Restaurant. The Rosewood Pub is a great place to go for a drink and some food, and the Droombos Restaurant is a good option for a more formal meal.
